Next Steps

Five years ago, I thought I would be employed forever. That was my initial intention.

But God has other plans for me.

It has been more than two years of being out of the 8-5 job. And I love the time freedom to do what I have to do anytime, including wee or late hours of the day, and not be under any boss.

I like that I can be productive, set more goals, and be creative as much as I want to. I also love that I get to do the things I enjoy the most, which is to continue to learn.

Then COVID hit. And business was down.

It was a scary curveball. But it had me thinking a lot! Should I go back to being employed or ride the wave until it rests? What are my next steps?

Processing it all wasn’t easy. But I have to trust the unfolding.

And unexpectedly, God has more surprises! And I am at awe by His many gifts.

I am happy to see busy days ahead, but I am happier because life continues to be free.
