Grace-Filled Reflections for a Blessed and Abundant Life

Maybe ”thinking rich” isn’t about chasing more. Maybe it starts with seeing what’s already in front of me.

What Does Thinking Rich Even Mean? (Day 1)

Maybe ”thinking rich” isn’t about chasing more. Maybe it starts with seeing what’s already in front of me.

The 100-Day Experiment: Can Thinking Rich Really Create Wealth?

Day 1: What Does Thinking Rich Even Mean?

I was so excited to launch the Thinking Rich experiment last night that today, all I could think of was thinking about thinking rich—not. Between work, errands, and the usual busyness of the day, I realized… I didn’t actually think about thinking rich at all.

It’s almost ironic. Here I am, starting a 100-day journey to shift my money mindset, and on Day 1, I’m already struggling to even make space for it.

So, what does thinking rich actually mean? All I could think about was the overwhelming vastness of the ocean—that all is well. I am content. But deep within, I feel like I am missing something.

And that is the belief I need to change, I think. The idea that I am lacking something. That I have to be in a different place, doing something else, for me to be rich—richly at peace with what I do and with what I have.

A Moment of Realization

As I sat with this thought, I realized that I have been conditioned to believe that wealth is always somewhere else—in a future goal, in another opportunity, in someone else’s success. But what if I have been measuring wealth all wrong? What if thinking rich isn’t just about financial success but about embracing the richness of what already exists in my life?

Shifting the Thought

Instead of chasing something out there, I decided to try a simple shift—acknowledging the abundance that already surrounds me. I looked around and listed three things that already make me feel rich:

1️⃣ The freedom to explore ideas and create something meaningful.

2️⃣ The support and encouragement of those who believe in me.

3️⃣ The ability to even embark on this experiment—because that alone is a privilege.

Daily Observation

I didn’t find all the answers today. But I noticed how often my mind wandered to what I don’t have instead of recognizing what I do have. Maybe thinking rich begins with trusting that I am already enough and that abundance isn’t something to chase—it’s something to recognize.

What I’m Taking Into Tomorrow

Tomorrow, instead of trying to force myself to think rich, I’ll simply notice. Notice my thoughts, my habits, my automatic reactions to money—without judgment, just awareness. Because maybe thinking rich doesn’t start with big changes, but with small shifts in what I pay attention to.
