The 100-Day Experiment: Can Thinking Rich Really Create Wealth?

Day 7: The First Step to Wealth—Taking Action with Faith

If I want to create wealth, I have to take the first step toward it! Setting my financial goals, defining my dreams, and believing in abundance are all important. But at some point, I have to move. Faith isn’t just about waiting; it’s about trusting enough to press the gas and take that first step forward.

A car won’t move until I press the gas. It doesn’t matter if I have the best GPS, the clearest directions, or the perfect plan—if I don’t take action, I stay exactly where I am.

Wealth works the same way. Thinking rich is the engine, but action is the fuel.

I can have the best mindset in the world, but unless I actually do something, I’ll stay stuck in the same place. The first step doesn’t have to be huge—it can be as small as saving a little, sending an email, applying for an opportunity, or researching the next step. But moving forward, even just a little, builds momentum.

Trusting God

The thing about a GPS is that we trust it to guide us, even when we don’t see the whole journey at once. We don’t panic when we can only see a few feet ahead on the road—we just follow the next turn, knowing it’s leading us toward our destination.

Isn’t that exactly how faith works?

God doesn’t show us every step of our journey upfront. Instead, He asks us to trust Him—to take a step, even when we don’t know exactly how things will unfold.

Many people get stuck waiting—waiting for clarity, waiting for the “right time,” waiting for a clear sign from God before they move. But faith isn’t about waiting until we see everything—it’s about taking the first step and trusting God to guide the rest.

Just like a car is easier to steer when it’s already in motion, God can guide me more easily when I’m already moving in faith. If I sit still, afraid to take action, I’m not giving Him anything to work with. But if I take even the smallest step, I show God that I trust Him to direct my path.

I don’t need to figure it all out. I just need to trust, press the gas, and know that He is leading me.

📌 Affirmation for Today:

“I take inspired action, trusting that God is guiding me toward my wealth and purpose.”

📌 Reflection:

What’s one step—no matter how small—I can take today that moves me toward my wealth destination?
