I write, I love

I miss me.

I love that God has His ways of bringing us back to Him. If it weren’t for the reflective journey that I embarked on, I wouldn’t realize that I miss me. I mean, I miss writing.

I felt closest to myself whenever I write. The words would flow when I quiet myself and surrender control. But I was more impressed by the feeling of joy at the end of every piece.

I haven’t been writing for years, and it felt like the flow of inspiration has stopped. Well, either that or I have become more engrossed with life and living that it has become a burden.

I made a mistake. It wasn’t just me that I felt closest to whenever I write, but the source of all inspiration. The one I really long for the most.

Now, I’m back, and this time it all makes sense as I see writing in a new light. I now understand why I feel joy every time, and it’s because I know God is embracing me.

So, here I am, writing again to give back, to love back.

And as I am blessed, I hope you will be blessed as well.

Thanks for joining my journey!
