Why Risk?

risk or not

It is one thing to say “I’m interested!” and another to (actually) do it!
To know all the details is one thing. To work on it is another!

But what makes one leap?
What makes one jump and risk?
What makes one move forward?

WHY RISK?

After every three years, I find myself embarking on a new journey. Weirdly, I thrive on the challenge. If there is none to lose, I do it!

I always take the fear out of the equation because I know it will do me no good. (Yes, including the fear surrounding fees and payments!) My belief is if I really want it, God will support me all the way!

Some 14 years ago, I paid an agency to start my US journey process with them, and then two weeks later, I found out I was pregnant with my 2nd child. I had to forego the dream (including the money paid) and focused on my current situation.

But, I’ve always believed that if it’s for you, it’s for you! Why? Because you get excited by simply thinking about it!

We have our little house built on our parent’s property. But I couldn’t seem to reconcile the fact that we will live there all our lives! I simply couldn’t imagine it! I know there has to be more!

My mommy (may she rest in peace) would always remind me that not everyone will ever get a chance to travel to the US. I guess I was more excited to prove to her that I was the exemption.

My goal made my heart beat faster!

A year after giving birth, I quietly worked on my goals. And after three months, I flew to the US.

And life was never the same again.

WHAT ABOUT YOU?

Why are you doing all these when it’s comfortable where you are?

Why risk when you are OK with your own little life?

No, you don’t have to justify or even make excuses.

Find it in your heart what makes you smile, and believe me, it will take you there!
